Horizon Wellness Club: from last to first in AI recommendations

Results at a glance

AI assistants now recommend Horizon first

We track 47 questions a prospect might ask without knowing Horizon's name, on ChatGPT and Gemini, alongside 8 competing gyms. In July, Horizon appeared in 5 of 90 answers and ranked last. Over the last 30 days it ranked first in every full run, ahead of Strength Clinic Academy, UFIT and Catalyst Performance.

When AI names Horizon, it now names it near the top: its average position in the answer moved from 4.8 to 1.9. Gemini named Horizon in 0 of 46 answers in July and 12 of 47 now.

Horizon is now the top answer on 10 of these questions, up from 1:

• I keep getting tight and picking up niggles when I train alone — is there a Singapore gym that pairs coaching with hands-on recovery to keep me consistent?
• I want regular sports massage to help my recovery between training sessions, where in the CBD should I look?
• I'm an independent personal trainer in Singapore — where can I rent gym floor space for my own clients, and is around $30 an hour reasonable?
• I'm over 30, work in the CBD and want a personal trainer who can train around my aches and pains, any recommendations?
• I'm recovering from a knee injury but want to keep training safely — where in the CBD can physiotherapy and strength coaching work together?
• I'm working in the CBD for a week and need a drop-in gym pass near Maxwell — what are my options and how much is a day pass?
• Is there a gym in the Singapore CBD with in-house physio and recovery under one roof?
• Is there a place in Singapore where the gym, physiotherapy and sports massage are coordinated under one plan instead of separate providers?
• What's the difference between seeing a physiotherapist and hiring a personal trainer, and is there a place that does both?
• Where can I find a gym that also has in-house physiotherapy and sports massage all under one roof?

How we measured

• The work: 9 weeks of GEO, AEO and SEO work.
• AI answers: 51 tracked questions on ChatGPT and Gemini, 47 of them without Horizon's name; the AI figures above use those 47. The tracker runs periodically from July to October: before is the first full run and after is the latest. The rank among gyms uses the average of the full runs in the last 30 days.
• Live tests: private browser windows, signed out. Screenshots show the first answer each assistant gave.
• Google: Google Search Console. Clicks, impressions and AI Overviews compare equal-length periods before and after the work, as weekly averages. Traffic is shown as change; absolute numbers are hidden for client confidentiality.
